TRAUMA
Trauma is caused by a stressful or disturbing experience which your brain is unable to process properly.
Many of us have suffered traumas, big and small. For example, after involvement in (or being a witness to) a conflict, a serious illness, the death of a loved one, a medical emergency, an attack, or being bullied or abused. Most of the time, we come through these bad experiences, recover and move on.
Sometimes we might struggle to recover and suffer post-traumatic symptoms including flashbacks, numbness, fear, panic attacks, depression, intrusive thoughts and nightmares or low self worth and an inability to sustain healthy relationships.
No one can make the traumatic experience "unhappen". But by using a combination of hypnosis and other therapies, you can take control of how that experience affects you in the here and now; you can find peace with what happened and live a fulfilling life.
